Question 23: Why do I get mushy or hard spots in the block?
Answer: Flushing the block with low pH water (<5.0) will dissolve the wool creating mushy spots, which then solidify into hard spots when correct pH water is used. Always use a pH range of 5.5–6.5 when watering.
