Transplanting: To slab or NFT when first true leaf is 1.5” in length.
Plant spacing: 1” between each plant stem on the slab (or NFT).
Preferred temperature: Day: 80°F Night: 65°F

Growing time to harvest: (after transplanting)
Summer: 3 weeks, Winter: 4 weeks
Number of harvests: One. One pulls the plants up by the roots and bunches them.


Yield:
Summer: 1 lbs per 5 ft. NFT trough. Winter: 1 lbs per 10 ft. NFT trough.

Light: Will grow at day length less than 10 hours, but growth will be slow.
Supplementary lighting: Not necessary however plants respond well to lighting 12-14 hrs at 700 ft. candles

Sensitive to: Fungal infections: Little. Insects: Aphids.
Notes: Arugula is an Italian salad green. To be profitable, it must be grown at close spacing. If growing in a slab seed directly into slab and following harvest re-seed. It is possible to get 6-7 crops this way.
