Re-useable Grodan Starter Tray

Re-useable Grodan Starter Tray

This sturdy white tray has been especially engineered for the Grodan company to perfectly fit the 1.5” AO starter plugs and round Macroplugs.

The 66-cell tray has the following exciting features:

  • Reusable- made from 33% thicker plastic than standard inserts
  • Cells that are shorter than the plugs, therefore the plugs sit slightly outside of the cell. This makes it easy to remove the plug to check root development.
  • White color with the Grodan name molded onto the plastic.
  • Wide rim that allows the tray to hang on top of any standard 10x20 nursery flat- leaving a ½” space under the tray, so the plugs avoid sitting directly in water
  • Can be used with other starters such as Jiffy pellets®, Rapid Rooters®, or Oasis®

Dutch bucket (hydro bucket) & mini dutch bucketDutch Bucket (Hydro Bucket) &
Mini Dutch Bucket
These buckets are designed for growing systems using loose media such as clay pellets (Hydroton), Grodan Growcubes, or coco. You can build a re-circulating 6 bucket system for less than US $150, all parts included. It takes max 1 hour to build. Please ask your local store for details.
The bucket has a very effective internal discharge system. The bottom part of the bucket is designed to create a water buffer. With the installation of 2 elbows connected to the drain, outlet siphoning is created.
The drainage is collected in a central drainpipe avoiding stagnating irrigation water in the Hydro Bucket. It is not recommended to use the buckets without the two elbows.

Accessories
60cc Luer-Lock Syringe
60cc Luer-Lock™ Syringe
These 60cc plastic syringes work best with our metal needles to extract a clean water sample from inside a Grodan Gro-slab or Gro-block. However, they come packaged with a plastic tube that can be used in place of the metal needle.
Metal Needles for above syringe
Metal Needles for above syringe
Professional growers know that accurate results for EC (fertilizer salts) and pH depend on how good a sample was taken. Taking a sample from your Grodan Gro-block or slab just got easier. These metal needles are used by the pros to take water samples deep from inside a stonewool Gro-block or Gro-slab. The insertion is smooth and less damaging to the plant. The needles are 4.5 inches long with two sampling holes at the tip. They fit most standard Luer-Lock™ 60 cc plastic syringes. Use the water samples that you extract to test for EC and pH for better control of plant growth.

45° Angled Drip Stake 45° Angled Drip Stake
This angled drip stake produces a light emission of water for regular top irrigation of your plants. The angled dimension reduces the chances of the tube bending too sharply. Tubing has a tendency to collect more debris where it bends, so by keeping the curve large you get less problems with clogging of the tubing.
